Gift vouchers that actually sell

Gift voucher revenue is real revenue — the kind that lands on a slow Wednesday. Here's how to design vouchers people actually want to buy.

Gift vouchers are the highest-margin revenue you can generate. The money lands immediately, the service is delivered later (sometimes never), and the buyer is almost always a repeat client.

Name them well

Don't sell '$100 voucher'. Sell 'An hour of unhurried quiet'. Sell 'The post-Christmas reset'. Sell 'Because Mum deserves it'. Name the emotional outcome, not the dollar value.

Price three tiers

$50, $100, $150. The middle one always sells most. The $50 lets people buy without stress. The $150 makes the $100 feel reasonable.

Expiry dates

Australian law requires a 3-year minimum expiry on most gift cards. Set exactly 3 years and no more. Shorter is illegal, longer dilutes urgency.

BookAndGo auto-generates a PDF voucher with a unique redemption code. You can send it to the recipient immediately or schedule delivery for a specific date.
