Booking software for barbershops in Melbourne
Melbourne has the most design-conscious barbering scene in the country. Fitzroy, Collingwood, Brunswick and the laneway shops off Flinders Lane are not selling a haircut so much as forty minutes somewhere you want to be, and that shapes how people book: they pick a barber, not a slot, and they come back to the same one for years.
Which means the booking page is part of the shop. A client should be able to choose their barber, see that barber's own availability, and rebook the same chair without ringing during trading hours.
BookAndGo gives every barber their own services, hours and booking link under one flat monthly price. No fee per chair, no commission on bookings, and nothing taken from you when a regular books their fourth cut of the year.

Built for Melbourne barbers
Saturday is the week in Melbourne barbering, and a Saturday no-show is not one lost cut - it is the slot three people asked for. Deposits can be required on the longer services, reminders go out from an Australian number the day before, and a client who cannot make it can move the booking themselves from the message rather than leaving you to find out at eleven.
Melbourne shops also tend to grow by adding a chair rather than opening a second site. That is exactly where per-person pricing starts to bite, so the price here does not move when the team does: five barbers on Professional, twenty on Business, all on one subscription.
Frequently asked
Can clients book a specific barber?
Yes. Each barber is a provider with their own services, working hours and booking link. A client picks the barber they always see, gets that barber's real availability, and rebooks the same chair without calling.
What happens to Saturday no-shows?
You can require a deposit on any service, send an AU SMS reminder the day before, and give the client a link to move the booking themselves. A slot released the night before can be refilled; one abandoned on the morning usually cannot.
Do I pay more as I add chairs?
No. One flat monthly price covers up to 5 barbers on Professional and 20 on Business. Adding a chair changes nothing about what you pay, which is the opposite of platforms that charge per team member.
Is there a commission on bookings?
None. Every booking is yours. We do not run a marketplace, so we have nothing to charge you for sending you a client who was already looking for you.
Can I take payment at the time of booking?
Yes, through Stripe on your own account, with a 0.5% platform fee and no lock-in. Plenty of shops take nothing up front and just use deposits on the longer services - both work.
