Switching is the easy part

We bring your client list across for you

The hard part of changing booking systems has never been the software. It is the four hundred people already in your book. Send us your export and we will bring them across, set your page up, and have you taking bookings the same week.

Coming from vcita, Mindbody, Timely, Square Appointments, Fresha, Cliniko or a paper diary? All of it works the same way. On vcita? Mindbody? Timely? Those three have a page of their own.

How a move actually goes

Send us your export

Almost every booking system will export your clients to CSV, and most will export upcoming appointments too. If you are not sure where to find it, tell us what you are on and we will point you at the exact screen.

We bring it across

Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses and notes. Columns rarely line up between systems, so ours works out which is which rather than making you map them. Duplicates are matched on email so nobody is imported twice.

Your upcoming bookings come too

Appointments already in the diary are brought in as confirmed bookings, so day one looks like day zero did. Imported bookings do not fire a confirmation email, because your clients did not just book, they booked weeks ago.

Then we tell your clients once

A single message from your business, from your own email address, letting people know where to book from now on. That is the part that turns a migration into bookings.

A real person does this with you

Not a help article and not a chatbot. You send the file, we do the work and check it with you before anything goes to your clients. We are a small Australian team and we would rather spend an afternoon getting your book across than watch another good business give up on a CSV.

Offered while we are small enough to mean it.

It has been done, at size

Peregian Massage moved 646 clients across from vcita. The announcement to their priority list was opened by 61% of recipients, drew no spam complaints, and bookings started arriving the same afternoon. They have taken more than two thousand since.

Questions people ask before moving

How much does the migration cost?
Nothing. We do it as part of getting you set up. It is hands-on because we would rather you were taking bookings in your first week than working out CSV columns on a Sunday.
How many clients can you bring across?
Up to 5,000 in one go, and there is no client limit on the Professional plan, which every trial starts on. Our largest migration to date was 646 clients from vcita.
What if my export is messy?
Most are. Column names differ between systems, some exports split first and last names, some put the phone number in with the address. Send it as it comes out and we will sort it.
Will my clients have to create an account or reset a password?
No. Your clients never sign in to BookAndGo. They book from your page and manage their booking from a link in their confirmation, with no password anywhere.
Can you import my past appointment history?
Yes, and it is worth doing. Visit history is what drives rebooking reminders, loyalty and knowing who has not been in for a while.
What happens to my old system?
Keep it running while you settle in. Nothing we do touches it, and nothing forces you to cut over on a particular day.
Is my data held in Australia?
Yes. Everything is hosted in Sydney on Australian infrastructure, and invoicing is GST-ready with ABN support.
