Booking software for barbershops in Sydney

Sydney barbering runs on turnover. A thirty minute cut at forty dollars only works if the chair keeps moving, which makes the gap between appointments the most expensive thing in the shop. In the CBD that gap is the lunchtime rush - a queue of office workers with a forty minute window and no interest in booking three days ahead. Out through Newtown, Marrickville and Enmore it is a different rhythm entirely: two and three chair shops where the regulars come every three weeks and half the day still walks in off King Street.

Both need the same thing from a booking system, and it is not a fancy calendar. It is that a booking takes seconds, a walk-in can be added without leaving the chair, and the client who books at eleven at night for Saturday actually turns up.

BookAndGo is one flat monthly price for the whole shop. No per-chair fee, no per-barber fee, and no commission taken when a new client books. A three chair shop in Petersham pays the same as a solo barber in Redfern.

Built for Sydney barbers

Rent-a-chair is the default in Sydney and it is where per-person pricing hurts most. Each barber is set up as their own provider with their own services, hours and booking link, all under one subscription - five on Professional, twenty on Business. The shop owner and every chair renter sit side by side on the same booking page, and adding a fourth barber does not change what you pay.

The other Sydney reality is that most of your bookings happen on a phone after close. Same-day stays open by default, because closing off today to look tidy costs a barbershop more than it saves, and an AU-based SMS reminder goes out before the appointment so the Thursday 5pm does not quietly evaporate.

Frequently asked

Do you charge per chair or per barber?

No. One flat monthly price covers the whole shop. You can run up to 5 barbers as separate providers on Professional, or 20 on Business, each with their own services, hours and booking link, at no extra cost per person.

Can I still take walk-ins?

Yes. Walk-ins and online bookings sit on the same calendar, and you can add a walk-in straight from the day view while the client is in the chair. Same-day online booking stays open by default rather than being closed off.

How is this different from Fresha?

Fresha ended its free plan in July 2026, so it is now a subscription plus a 20% fee on the first appointment of any client who finds you through their marketplace. We charge one flat monthly price, take no commission at all, and do not list your shop in a marketplace beside every other barber in the inner west.

Do reminders come from an Australian number?

Yes. SMS reminders send from an Australian number, which matters for delivery and for whether a client recognises the message. Reminders can carry a short note of your own, like your cancellation window.

Will I get proper GST invoices?

Yes. Paid bookings produce a compliant Australian tax invoice with your ABN and sequential numbering, and your client data stays on Australian servers in Sydney.
